AURORA by Lapuan Kankurit is woven in Finland from 100% virgin wool, including locally sourced wool from Finnsheep and Finnsheep crossbreeds. In the cinnamon version, the accompanying blue is dyed using a plant-based dye made from woad.
Drape the smaller blanket over your lap or shoulders. The larger size works beautifully as a throw for your sofa or bed.
Designed by Akira Minagawa, the pattern echoes the layered forms of the northern lights. Overlapping lines give the blanket depth, revealing different aspects of the pattern as you drape or fold it.
